Below is a list of events that the SEQAS is hosting. 

Note: If you are not logged in to the site as a member of the club, you will only see events available to the public. Members must login to see member only events, ie Dark Sky Camps and Club Functions.

    Free stargazing in Brisbane's north! Urban Observers is SEQAS's monthly community telescope night at Barrett Street Park, Bracken Ridge — see the Moon, planets, star clusters and nebulae through our members' telescopes. Beginners and families welcome, and you don't need any equipment.

    When: Saturday 18 July, from 5pm till late
    Where: Barrett Street Park, Bracken Ridge — enter via Jude Street, free parking available
    Cost: Free — no booking needed, just turn up

    Got your own telescope? Bring it along and our experienced members will happily help you set it up, collimate it, or get more out of it.

    SEQAS holds Ordinary General Meetings every month that are open to SEQAS members and anyone who has an interest in astronomy. Each Ordinary General Meeting will have a selection of speakers discussing astronomy topics, SEQAS business, and recent club activities\events. The meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm (AEST).

    Venue
    Bracken Ridge Library, 77 Bracken Street, Bracken Ridge, QLD, 4017

    Registration
    Anyone wishing to register to attend will be able to do so from the 1st of each month.

    Times:
    Doors open at 7:00pm.
    Meeting starts at 7:30pm in Meeting Room 1 and will be finished around 9:30pm

    7:40pm Treasurers Report
    7:45pm Ordinary business
    8:00pm Presentations
