Juile Straayer We’re thrilled to welcome Julie Straayer as one of our judges for this year’s astrophotography competition! A long-time member of the South East Queensland Astronomical Society (SEQAS), Julie is known for her deep dedication to astronomy and tireless support of the greater stargazing community. With years of hands-on observing experience and a strong passion for public outreach, she’s inspired countless newcomers through community events, club activities, and her commitment to sharing the night sky. Julie brings a thoughtful eye and a wealth of knowledge to the judging panel, making her a valued voice in celebrating the Art and Science of Lunar and Planetary Photography. Nico Carver Nico Carver is a passionate astrophotographer known for his stunning deep-sky images of nebulae and galaxies.
